This Mediterranean-themed restaurant offers bistro-style dining in one of Cape Town’s best seafront locations. An extensive menu brings together some of the classics from Caveau as well as thin-crust pizzas, flatbreads and more. There’s plenty to choose from morning through to late at night, and with al fresco seating on Beach Road and a relaxed atmosphere, it makes a perfect sundowner spot. A DJ spins mellow lounge beats every Friday to get the weekend going smoothly.

Gould’s Special Note: This is one of three restaurants on the street where I live and without doubt one of my most regular haunts. If they have oysters I look for nothing else, if not available, the veal or the salmon dishes are favourites.
